What an absolutely gorgeous town. Seen a good few museums and galleries and I still have another week! Been sketching a bit and working on pages for The Secret for Dark Horse. Coming along. Should be in the middle of #3 by the time I get back and starting some new paintings. Thus far, it's been a great "reset" button in my cluttered brain. It's what I needed to do for a while now. More updates and sketches loaded soon.

Off to San Francisco for 2 weeks. House-sitting. Never been. Hope to catch up on my stuff for Dark Horse while away and come back refreshed and ready to paint. Cheers, kids.

Progress...2

here's a couple of smaller guys I just started as well....it's good for me to have a couple going at once. If one get too wet to work on and I still have some fuel in me, I can jump to them. Also, if having trouble with one, I can sometimes find answers in the others.

A quick update that when I'm not workiong on the comics work, I'm painting my bum off. Here's a new piece, a little under 60x60 i JUST started.

Working like a mad bastard right now. finished another installment of the Escapist....some of my best work, I believe, to date. I have 2 more to go, and a painted cover....kinda cool. Also, working on #2 and 3 of The Secret for Dark Horse, the fully painted horror book. 4 issues. Looks good, there are a few pages on the section8 website. Should have a lot to show for San Diego con this year. Original art to sell and whatnot. Also finishing the script for my own 4 issue mini-series that Dark Horse will be doing! more updates on that later. here's one more Escapist page.
